Selling Your Car: - Is selling a car to an unregistered car removal company will be a good decision?

I have an old car and now want to get rid of it. I was searching for a good option. So, one of my good friend give an idea to sell a car to a car wrecking company. According to my friend, I will get a good cash price for my car with a free car disposal. A car disposal will also be done in environment-friendly process. But some other friend increases my knowledge by adding some information that an unregistered car removal company do not obey Australian standard. Now I am confused that is unregistered “Selling Your Car” company will be good selection?
